About the Challenger Division

What is the Little League Challenger Program?

The Little League Challenger Program is Little League’s adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges.

Who can participate in the Little League Challenger Program?

Kids with physical or cognitive challenges may participate. If an individual can participate in the traditional Little League Baseball or Softball program with reasonable accommodations they should do so. The Little League Challenger Division accommodates players ages 4-18,

Is there a cost to participate in the Challenger Program?

We are committed to keeping the costs of our program as low as possible while still providing a great experience for all participants. The $35.00 fee is necessary to cover the cost of the uniform and basic equipment, ensuring every player has what they need to take part in the season.

What rules are followed during a Challenger game?

Flexibility and adaptability are key during Challenger games. Little League provides all chartered teams with a rulebook that includes a best practice guide to operating a Challenger Game. Typically, games are 1-2 innings long and last about an hour. All players play defensively and bat every inning.

Spring 2025 - Baseball

Online registration for Spring 2025 Canyon Country Little League Baseball is now available.

The Little League Baseball® program includes divisions for all children, ages 4–16. Baseball divisions consist of the following programs:

Tee Ball (ages 4-5)
Rookie League (6-7)
Farm Division (8-9)
Minor League (ages 8-11)
Major Division (ages 9-12)
Intermediate (50/70) (ages 12-13)
Junior League (ages 13-14)

The 11-week season will begin Saturday, March 8th, 2024.

Leagues fees our Spring Program are as follows:

T-Ball through Farm divisions is $260.00.

Minors through Seniors - $285.00

All Registration Accounts will include a mandatory $140.00 * refundable CMF Fee. The CMF Fee is refundable with 10 hours of approved volunteer time.

All accounts are limited to a maximum registration fee of $650.00.
